Standard deduction (Salary)- Restoring standard deduction in case of salaried employees should be taken into consideration to compensate for the expenses incurred by the salaried class. The income earned under any other head are allowed deduction of some expenditure, which is not the case with the salaried class. Allowing such deduction will bring in parity with the other heads, resulting in higher take home salary in wake of the rising inflation. #Budget, #UnionBudget, #MyGov

I think all Jan Dhan account holders must have PAN Card to enable PAN quoting mandatory in more transactions. To encourage people to obtain PAN Card following incentives to be given:1) All Jan Dhan account holders should be issued PAN Card free. 2) Jan Dhan account holders having PAN Card and having gross income below 2.50 lakh be granted interest subsidy @5% p.a subject to maximum of Rs 5000 p.a per account, which will encourage more savings and multiple account can be eliminated.

#UnionBudget Hats off to you sir for opening largest no savings accounts for common people. I also suggest that there should be no service charges for using debit card in POS machines. (actually the customer is not charged but the shop keeper bears the charges for the transaction used on machine). This actually demotivates more shop keepers from offering POS machines which means customer has to withdraw the cash from ATM to make a purchase.

E Bill – Introduce Electronic invoice where the invoice is uploaded on the government website by the seller and the buy should be able to download and import the bill in his software so that there is no double work and discrepancies. The invoice uploaded can also be used in checkpost for cross verification.

As we are preparing for implementation of GST I would suggest that we should develop accounting software and distributed free. The software should be similar to Tally which is more familiar to most accounting staff which will help them to easily adopt.
