To foster the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and to infuse more transparency into the budget making exercise, thereby having people as partners in the process of budget making, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2016-17.

Citizens are requested to submit their ideas and suggestions on the topics that are generally in the ambit of Budget proposals as presented in the Parliament each year.

Suggestions may be submitted either directly in the comments box or through attached PDF documents.

The last date for submissions of suggestions is 5th February 2016.

Sirjee awareness of crop insurance and various other pro poor and people schemes can be implmented using railway stations as one of platforms as in India most people might not be aware of various govt offices but they surely know nearest railway stations . It ll be a win winfor railways as well as govt too. Thank you sir

Introduction of plastic money should be made mandatory for transactions exceeding Rs 10000.That is,any transaction exceeding Rs 10000, should be made either by way of debit card/credit card or cheque/Demand draft.Any one making cash payments for any type of purchase beyond Rs 10000 should be made unlawful and Null and Void.This is a simple mechanism to track unaccounted money and curb tax evasion.we have waited enough to cleanse the country and it is high time we disciplined ourselves. Regards

माननिये प्रधानमंत्री महोदय आपसे निवेदन है की, केरोसिन तेल जिसका पीडीएस के माध्यम वितरण किया जाता है उसका 70 से 80 प्रतिसत कालाबाजारी हो जाता है। इसलिये केरोसिन तेल के स्थान पर सौर्य ऊर्जा लालटेन का वितरण किया जाये। जिससे केरोसिन पर दिया जाने वाला हजारो करोड़ की सब्सिडी की बचत हो सके और इसका उपयोग अन्य विकास कार्यो में हो सके।

I request you to make budget allotment for farming institute for villages. they need to be qualified with new and efficient techniques so as to combine traditional and modern farming. like 1: how to do organic farming. 2: multiply your seeds. 3: water conservation. 4: solar irrigation. 5: need of soil testing. 6: Crop rotation techniques. this will help them for efficient productivity and help many farmers to not quit farming and may encourage many to do farming again.

महोदय मैं उत्तराखंड से हूं। आगामी बजट में लघु परियोजनाओं(अतिलघु पनविद्युतपरियोजना, चीड़ के पत्तों से बोर्ड निर्माण, उपलब्ध जड़ी-बूटियों से अर्क आदि तैयार करना) हेतु बजट का प्रावधान रखा जाय और पहाड़ की जवानी को बाहर बहने से बचाया जाय। उक्त प्रकार के लघुइकाईयों हेतु उत्तराखंड के ही अनुभवी व शिक्षित व्यक्तियों को नामित करके युवारोजगार को बढ़ावा देकर पलायन रोका जा सकता है धन्यवाद दीपक जोशी

As per sec 40(a)3 of income tax tax payment in excess of 20000 rs. in cash is prohibited except certain cases. But in normal routine of business there are many circumstance where we need more limit than 20000. and this limit is very old, now the business requirements has been change from the past. The limit is very less for now days. So the govt should focus on it and limit should be increased.

My above 3 suggestion should have major budgetary support in term of Finance and Technical execution team. With 3 year plan we will be able to increase GDP share of Agriculture and allied industry to 20% or more. For eg 20 lac Cow donation by govt can give around 4000 crore in investment by govt in first year can produce around 40000 crore of Milk related business annually around close to 0.4 to 0.5% of GDP.

To increase Crop share two important things are Land and Water. District level Water management system to be made as per year Crop level how much water is required and what is available. Gap with another 50% margin to be planned and create resource for water storage conservation etc. This to be done at War footing. This will again help in GDP improvement, Food Security, Less suicide due to major crop failure and reduce lot of pressure on other GDP contributors to give jobs.

deduction for stamp duty , registration for purchase of house should be allowed for 3 to 5 years from year of purchase. This will help those who has already invested 1.5 lacs & then purchased a house.
