To foster the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and to infuse more transparency into the budget making exercise, thereby having people as partners in the process of budget making, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2016-17.

Citizens are requested to submit their ideas and suggestions on the topics that are generally in the ambit of Budget proposals as presented in the Parliament each year.

Suggestions may be submitted either directly in the comments box or through attached PDF documents.

The last date for submissions of suggestions is 5th February 2016.

Union Budget must bring incentives for farmers.Even though the contribution of farming to GDP may be low but we have to understand that India leaves in villages and village has the profession of farming. Our major population is dependent on farming and therefor the prosperity of the country can be achieved only once farmers are prosperous. 2. Very little has been done by the government for farmers. Earliers view of Jai Jawan and Jai Kishan will pay dividents.

Majority of Govt pensioners above 70 years of age are suffering more than one medical problem & spend more than Rs1500.00 P.M There were medical insurance earlier also. There needs to be special rebate in income tax for senior citizens of 70 years or above., & additional above 80 yrs

JAI HIND PM Modi should encourage the countrymen to take legitimate bill for their each purchase. shopkeepers should also be bound for the same. in addition to above billing through debit card/credit card should also be motivated.

To improve the quality and development of govt. Schools provide additional tax relief in this #Unionbudget to tax payers equal to fees paid to govt. Schools for the education/study of their childrens by inserting new section under I T. So the no. Of student will be increase and automatically quality of schools will be improve. If the children's of govt. Officers will be get the education from govt. Schools the quality of such schools will be automatically improve. Thanks for provide such opport

Income upto Rs. 5 lakhs should be exempted. Service Tax on house rent should be removed. All private limited companies companies with paid up capital less than Rs. 25 lakhs should be allowed to convert into LLP. Income tax exemption for Food processing units.

Please trying to the new company registration fees as low as possible. It helps upcoming businessman. It generates the employment and wealth also. So please minimum the company formation fees and processs. It generates revenue also.

Sir, I'm from Mayurbhanj, Odisha. My suggestion is that" only one super fast train is runningfrom Baripada to our state capital Bhubaneswar daily morning 5am, which is reach at Bhubaneswar at 10.20am. We can not reach Bhubaneswar for any exam before 10 am, so we suggest plz run a train everyday night 11pm to Bhubaneswar for which we reach Bhubaneswar in time for any type of official work and exam.

Increase health insurance premium exemption to Rs. 30000/- for self and family and to Rs. 50000 for dependent parents and senior citizens. Raise Salaried employees Tax slab upto Rs. 500,000 no tax
