To foster the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and to infuse more transparency into the budget making exercise, thereby having people as partners in the process of budget making, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2016-17.

Citizens are requested to submit their ideas and suggestions on the topics that are generally in the ambit of Budget proposals as presented in the Parliament each year.

Suggestions may be submitted either directly in the comments box or through attached PDF documents.

The last date for submissions of suggestions is 5th February 2016.

Give highest incentive to solar operated desalination units along Indian coast line which can generate potable water upto 500 litres. They shall be allowed to set up water ATMs in their area of operations upto 50 kms.

This is regarding the food coupon (Sodexo) which employees getting as food allowance and tax benefit.. Now many of the outlets are not accepting the coupon and we are allowing a foreign multinational company printing currency notes( the coupon)... Instead like what is offered for transportation, this also given as fixed amount in the allowance... Lot of saving on papers, hassles to spend it to specific shops. Why allowing multinational to make money out of hard earned INDIAN worker.

Eliminate trader from agriculture. Trade is buying cheap and selling dear. The trader extorts the farmers to buy cheap. He hoards. Sells dear. Thus exploits consumers. Can't the farmers sell themselves!Remove all other traders. Let only co-operative societies trade. Create (nation-wide) online demand supply and cost analysis software. Provide transport facility to the co-operatives societies initially.Perhaps I dare to hope that this doesn't fall into deaf ears or dead souls.

create a new department of monitoring - when the staff go to the field and see the health worker or school teacher or development officer absent or ill treating the student / patient he shd have the power to take swift action (like a anti corruption bureau)

Respected Sir, I have one suggestion regarding unemployment, please don't motivate digitization the cost of manpower, I am working in TATA consultancy Service in Gujarat currently, In my office people are losing there jobs just because of automation in software.

Respected sir In sakri-Hashanpur via-Biraul,Darbhanga railway line there is no any holt station between jagdishpur and benipur. Due to this public of this area are suffering more problems also a lot of revenue loss of railway.The middle point between these two station is Bikupatti.This space is identified by railway department in 2013, but after a long time there is no action taken by the railway.I can hardly believe that a railway department like your which is reputed for its efficiency.

My suggestions are:- 1. Increase budget for health, because without basic quality health care for the common people of this country we cannot imagine great India. I m serving as a Govt. doctor and i strongly recommend that kindly increase health budget so that we can also serve for the people in a better way like pvt. hospitals at govt rates. 2.Increase income tax slab for concession purpose of all Govt employee. 3.Start interest free education loan scheme for Toppers/Poor students.
