India needs a guidelines on the charges of doctors and other medical professionals. Currently they charge whatever they want but there must be some normalization in their consultancy charge. They charge Rs 400 to Rs 5000 per sitting which is actually a loot and harassment of poors. We have sufficient doctors to treat people but we lack rules on these Docs which loots poors "Right to Medicine".

Increase number of Medical Universities... Indian government medical universities are short of medical personnel. OPD have very large lines and little experienced docs had to handle large number of patients. Deoria sadar, UP has one government hospital and that too worst I could ever see. People had to travel all the way to BHU for small medicines.
