To foster the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and to infuse more transparency into the budget making exercise, thereby having people as partners in the process of budget making, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2016-17.

Citizens are requested to submit their ideas and suggestions on the topics that are generally in the ambit of Budget proposals as presented in the Parliament each year.

Suggestions may be submitted either directly in the comments box or through attached PDF documents.

The last date for submissions of suggestions is 5th February 2016.

sir, we need defence schemes, keeping the deals with U.S and French in defence, I would like you to increase our defence budget as it is comparatively low with other countries.And I think we should try for Europeon union's "eurofighter typhoon" to purchase.Also the internet tariffs are way more in India I think you can keep them at low. Sir, try to clear GST this time. Expecting a lot in this budget........

I feel PMJJBY, PMSBY and APY are great. But, it has been my personal experience that an auto driver, a saloon owner, a sugarcane juice seller that I interacted with are not even aware of such products. Kindly develop a strategy to spread these deep down. My two ideas at this point are - to ensure every Aadhar holder is covered under these schemes, to introduce a referral points program.

please allocate sufficient fund for RAILWAYS MINISTRY to introduce computerised CUSTOMER CARE CELL with sufficient staff in all important trains itself like rajdhani , duranto ,satabdi etc.,for solving on the spot passenger complains re. food , harrassment , sanitation , water supply,seat/berth allotments. cleanliness etc.

इस देश में 70% छोटे,एवं गरीब किसान जिसमे से 30% किसानो के पास जमीन नहीं हे यह सब लोग पशुपालन एवं दुग्ध वायसय से जुड़े हुए हे। फलस्वरूप देश दुग्ध उत्पादन में विश्व में 1 नंबर पर हे। 70% दुग्ध वयवसाय असंगठित छेत्र में हे और 30% दुग्ध उत्पादन cooperative की माध्यम से संगठित हे। दूध का खरीद मूल्य किसान से अलग अलग राज्याओं में अलग अलग ही किन्तु consumerमूल्य लगभग एक हे। इस व्यवसाय से भूमिहीन, गरीब किसान जुड़े हुए हैं,देश में milk cooperative की जगह कैटल cooperative की जरूरत हे। एक खाका संगलन हे।

Dear Sir/Madam, My suggestion is related to Education Loan NPA Segment.as the higher education in India is costly and it is not affordable to poor student especially engineering & Medical so that they took Education loan. The interest rate on education loan is higher than any other loan, Please make a scheme of Direct Principle Transfer (DPT), student are ready to pay loan on Principal amount as a specific tenure like 3-4 year based on Equated monthly installment (EMI), Pl.see below image

Our country backbone is agriculture, So kindly make this budget for agriculture development and prompt for export goods form country

I feel bad while seeing the pethetic conditions of lot of our farmers. Lack of money, farm equipments and not so well irrigation facility is certailnly adding to their agonny.Lot of thing is planned w.r.t. to irrigation i think in budget but, i have one more suggestion. Govt. should provide farm equipments also to farmers on rent. Cluster of villages (15-20) should be made and nominal rates should be charged to farmers. This will help lot of low income farmers in that cluster village
