Continue.... Tax revenue from shop keepers. To make process streamline that every small & big shopkeeper file the ITR we can make one thing that "janta hi ye kam kare "if we provide tax deduction on individual expenses (whatever he purchase from shopkeeper) then every individual ask for bill from shopkeeper.. Then it is easy to track the sale & easy to make file sales tax.. By doing this we can increase the tax revenue & more money for infrastructure. However we must give facility tax payer

BJP has promised during election campaigning in 2014 that there won't be income tax upto five lacs I agree that it will not be practicable to fulfill this promise within a short period. But this may be kept in mind when preparing budget for 2016/17 Service tax is levied for almost all services rendered by banks, private companies and telephone companies and even commonmen are affected by this.Hence ST may be reduced and FD interest amount of senior citizens may be excluded from the orbit of IT

Respected Sir, Here are few suggestions- 1. Make online transactions free- This will encourage people to use NetBanking/Debit/Credit cards and reduce the use of actual currency and govt will save money as less notes needs to be printed. 2. Put the service tax on cash transactions- To cover up the revenue loss from free online transactions put the tax on cash transaction valued higher than allowed limit.

RespectepPM. I want to give my opinion on union budget 15-16. 1. To increase the tax revenue we can start a shop no.card so that a major shop keeper who transact in a cash most of the time & never fill the ITR, after shop no.card it is mandatory to fill the ITR & with card no we can make device that every purchaging count, I hope to do this first we can face the challenges however to contribute for nations every one's responsibility.

Individual income tax can be replaced by increase by small amount the Corporate tax and also the indirect tax. This we have already seen in Govt's increase in Service Tax, and also asking Corporates to shell out 2% for CSR activities Taxes can be put on cars and other luxury items and so on so forth

Good morning PM and all, I was residing in Singapore for the last 15yrs which is a clean smart city . I have so many idea which can be applied in India and we can change our country to a modern country. I have seen all the documentary on singapore history , by respected Lee Kuan Yew, whose efficient but often heavy-handed leadership helped transform Singapore from a chaotic British colonial backwater into one of the world’s most prosperous and orderly states... I am waiting to join now.

Interest earned from Banks on Savings/Fixed A/Cs should be taxed ONLY above the Govt.s official Inflation index. This index the govt. should bring out 1-2 times in a year and only the amount earned over and above this inflation rate should be taxed. If the govt. inflation number is 6% and bank is offering 5.5% on fixed deposit, where is the rationale for taxing this amount. Another way is to have say, fixed 0.5 point tax on this amount at the source and that's it.
