Respected PM,
Actually the produce is not giving them the correct price due to third party involvement. If they have facility to transport and sell, hope they can be comfortable. Farmers with less land for cultivation are the real ones suffering. They need more support from the govt. Farmers are the backbone of this country and without them, we all are dead. We spend so much on satellites which is used for the agriculture, still not able to solve farmers problem. PM sir, thank u so much.

Problem: stories farmers are hardworking and poor
Sir,
Please get such stories dropped from text books those project farmers as hardworking, poor and require sympathy. These stories are driving young generation away from farming. I am a software engineers, scientist, heavy machinery designer having over 20 years’ experience in BEML, ISRO, WIPRO and MNCs but when I shown my interest in farming, everyone in my family and friend laughed and opposed saying farming is hardworking task and risky

Mostly suicides by farmers are due to "debt trap" by money lenders. Sometimes they take high risk by increasing area of cultivation, or enhanced use of farm inputs. They also divert loan money to personal use. Adverse climate make their life miserable.

All agricultural officers will visit only rich and farmers with political backing. This should be stopped and you should tell them, how you are going to open up. Even the poorest farmer should get best advice. All farm technology demonstrations are done on rich farmers fields.
