Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Dear Prime Minister, On the land acquisition bill, try to create a rule which implies that the farmer / person who has surrendered his land for acquisition for private firms/BOT types, will be a part of the shareholder of the company, apart from the compensation he has received, so that he will have a backup for his next endeavors, keeping in mind the farmer doesn’t become idle after receiving the compensation amount

Our farmers were independent n prosperous 200 years back but Dalhousie LAND REFORM made all land of Govt. The use of fertilizers , pesticides and murdering of cows in India made us devoid of sufficient food to survive. kindly stop the murdering cows in India as it was prior to Britisher's rule. Allot land to landless people irrespective of caste or creed. Ask them to take care of cows and use organic manure for better crop with stopping of chemicals in it. INDIA CAN BE PROSPEROUS AGAIN, JAI HIND

Hello PM, I know this may not be suitable for this topic but as my father, a farmer, suffered recently hence writing here. PGVCL made some mistakes in past and elect meter given to someone with my father's name. That person from my village didn't pay the bills. Now, each & every officer in PGVCL know that my father is not at fault but still sent court notice. Court forced to go through lawyer only. Nobody helped him and forced to pay money only. What a shame. Why farmers suffer? Bcoz illetrate?
