Passing marks should be at least 40% in each term. Answer sheets should be collected by the CBSE with in three days after completion of first term examination. No home based (School based) examination in X std. FAs should be removed.

The most important question in this regard is "Do we need to review the structure or our school and curriculum?' This is asked no where. The learning outcomes, exams, no detention, CCE etc. all depend on the sturcture of the school and curriculum. without changing the very structure none of them are going to be successful. http://www.deccanherald.com/content/451598/in-dire-need-reform.html

Students should be given the choice of choosing their subjects once they reach 9th grade so that they don't fall prey to stress during exams as they ll be giving exams on the subjects they have chosen.
