The style of teaching in CCE is really good but requires reforms as you mentioned. I completely agree with you with many of your points. But I have some modifications.

The present system of CCE was introduced arbitrarily. It has not served any fruitful purpose.the quality of education has gone down. students take studies very casually and they don't have respect for teachers as they know they will all pass under the'no detention policy'. as there are no boards in class 10 , students do not take their studies as seriously as they ought to. we, as teachers feel that class 10 boards were very good and should be brought back.

State govt is in bad shape. pl own the govt schools , make them model schools , reintroduce IES services , board examination for class 8 and class 10. it is better to produce 10000 good students rather than 1 lakh stupids. no hard work , no success. install science labs in every school , make science museums ( like regional science centre ahemdabad , gauwhati ) in every district . class 12 boy doesn't know pulley , gear ! some concrete results should be coming soon rather than longterm plans.

teacher should be given autonomy to prepare learning module for different lessons taking into consideration local needs and resources available in that locality. He/she should be given chance to frame questions for all sorts of examination based on local needs even for session ending examination with some norms for setting questions. that would help a rural student to know his locality better

A compulsory 4 week holiday before final examination for all standards . This will surely help them to prepare for examination.

Main issues in reforming education system is if students know that they will be promoted to next higher level/ class only few will have healthy habits of learning ,most of the students love ease as they aren't mature enough to know n think their future.Pls try to eradicate pure CCE POLICY. No struggle no stress no achievement ,fear of board exam does a lot good.

In Examinations for Students of Schools and Colleges based teams like Flying Squad or CCC (Close Circuit Cameras) must be launched for avoiding cheatings in Examination Halls.
