Examination reforms that focus on problem-solving, critical thinking and reasoning skills are critical to improving quality at the secondary level. Such reforms will change the teaching–learning processes and improve learning outcomes. In recent years, CBSE has introduced wide-ranging examination reforms in schools affiliated to it, such as Class X Board Examination has been made optional, Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) has been strengthened so that the students, are assessed on an ongoing basis for their holistic development, a system of grading in place of marks has been introduced. The objectives are to look at the existing systems and suggest reforms which would help better assessment of students.

I request the government to take some fast action on the difficult class 12 CBSE 2015 maths examination paper. This really requires a great concern. Best solution to this can be a re test of the maths paper. It will help lakhs of students to improve their important board result, as it is considered throughout the career of every individual and also in CBSE JEE-main ranking.

The CCE system has made the students complacent especially up to Class 8. They know they can score with the activities, formative assessments, upgradations etc. They know they will not fail, they will invariably be promoted. The old system of examinations in Class 10 should be brought back. They can have 50% weightage on internal assessments. The CCE system makes the teachers teach under pressure throughout he academic session as they have to take so many formative assessments and two summative

Today's Examination System is purely based on gaining the knowledge from text books and simply reproducing it. In this system those who cram the subject , perform well. In reality these crammers are highly lagging behind in making meaningful use of the knowledge. So Examination system should ensure and evaluate analytical and reasoning power of the students. Secondly our Examination System include most of the subjective questions where evaluation is difficult for teachers and sometime unbiased

Examination is the most important component of Education. Had there been no exam, most students will not study at all. The Kapil Sibbal policy had been disaster for Indian Education system. Specially the rural, State govt school, Tribal and hill areas had been affected severely. Consequently the class-V students who are Kapil Sibbal policy product can hardly read and write. As there is no fail system, the students has no fear to fail. So please Restore Board Exams for X.

Students compare real life challenges with exams in school, a one time event, get over with it, score high somehow, whether interested or not. This mind set nurtured by our exam system influences decisions that they take in real life. Life is not made up of discrete events. It is a continuous flow, full of alternatives. Let us prepare them for real life. A continuous assessment system needs to be adopted that encourages "do what you love and love what you do" attitude.

it would be really helpful for the class 10 and 12 students if the CBSE uploads all our answer sheets with our results because we will get to know our mistakes and any kind of error in the correction since get our answer sheets after a lot of procedures it would make life easy and grateful. its a request from the students.

Bring back the old examination system. Avoiding the exams make a child dull. Please review the daily activities of teachers. Teachers in normal Govt. schools has to do non-teaching jobs like distributing funds among students, doing paper work related to non -teaching activities, etc..

CCE has been introduced along with grading system to release pressure on children. But what has been done for class 12 children? Doubled the pressure. They are running to get marks in boards as well as preparing for competitive exams becoming slaves of books. Earlier system was better where the board marks were not added to their competitive exam.. My humble request to honourable education minister is to bring back the old system. Mr Kapil sibal has robbed our children's smiles.

As of now, examination is an one time event to assess performance of a student. It is not serving its purpose in full. Say, if student is not in form on the day of the examination, results can be misleading. Also, a one time event makes students to lie lazy most part of the academic session and work overtime just for that exam. So one time exam is not suitable to measure caliber of the student. Instead, we should adopt a continuous assessment that accumulates over a period.
