What is the role of parents in furthering education for daughters? Do you think a broader and more equal outlook among parents would help more daughters to go to school?

Girls are not for domestic help.Rational discrimination should not come while considering education .So i feel parents should always keep this point in mind as this will lead to educated women who are more likely to educate their own children – ending the cycle of illiteracy in one generation.

Govt has made various Dowry laws. But its implementation / its enforcements is not satisfactory . Dowry laws & its enforcement need to be upgraded. Many crimes are happening due dowry or demands after marriage. In some cases , Girls comeback to fathers house due to torture by in-laws . Thus father gets tension & suffers from Heart attack & dies.

Now a days, parents have conveniently shifted their responsibilities on to the teachers. They need the teacher to instruct the child to get up early, to study, to do his chores, to sleep on time, etc etc. Most of the parents have not given their children a single story book to read, have not told them any stories, not shared any knowledge from our great Epics, have not taught them basic manners, have not allowed them to watch news channels or educational programmes for they themselves were busy watching serials and have not taught them their responsibilities. But, they expect a teacher to do all these!! It is high time to understand that the basics of teaching happen at homes and every parent should understand that their children learn from them. Earlier, a school was given autonomy in the kind of methodology to be followed. Now the education system is too much entangled in interferences from various sectors that teaching learning process has become more artificial, compromising the real purpose.

Parents are one who teaches first word to child and whom every child see as role model. They should feed in to their daughters that like food, cloth and home, education is also basic necessity for every one and daughters should not be deprived from this. Health of family depends on girl which automatically contribute to nation' health.

The nation has a great resource in the person of the Nobel Laureate Shri Kailash Satyarthi. I am pained to see that he is not getting due acknowledgement in India unlike some past Nobel laureates, contributions of some of whom to the nation can be questioned. Mr Satyarthi is so great that he has donated his Nobel medal to India. He should be appointed as advisor to the Prime Minister for youth and child affairs. This will bring much hope to these youngsters and large benefits to the nation.

I want to draw a kind attention towards banking exams.Which are as follows:- 1. Validity of qualified candidates of RRB Exam for IBPS which is one year only should be finished and that should be valid for ever. 2 Candidates who are qualified regularly from last three years i.e from 2012,2013,2014 in the exam of IBPS under RRB should be appointed without any hitch by the selection board of the bank because their merit can not be challenged by any one . 3 . Hindi or English paper be similar .
