Eternal living is the highest achievement mankind can achieve. Thera are scientific paths laid by our Ancestors and clearly in particularly Saint Vallalar alias Ramalinga Adigalar has proven this through his life. The concept of eternal living is scientific and need not confuse it with religious framework. It can be attained by all human beings if they approach scientifically. This science of eternalness should be taught to all students.

By including yogic practices in its purest form to students. It will make them to walk the right path automatically.
Change education system. Take guidance from enlightened beings or yogis who can create a middle path. Best of both world- modern technology and ancient yogic practices.
If Yogic practice can change me. I am sure they will change future generations too.

Our ancestors and Rishies had practiced Mudras and slokas for various health issues and to lead happy , healthy and peaceful life. There are 100s of mudras for various problems and health issues. But unfortunately they are all forgotten. But just as yoga is given a rebirth, other ancient practices like chanting various slokas and practicing mudras need to be promoted widely. To begin with this can be started in all high schools with one hour per week . I am sure at least the next generation will be able to reap the benefit of these ancient practices. Regards

Our country is blessed with great traditional knowledge and practices from ancient time. From sages to ordinary people are sources of such great knowledge. Most of these knowledges are also scientifically proven in modern times. But a major portion of such ancient knowledge is still remaining in our Vedas, Upanishads, manuscripts classical texts etc. as undiscovered or unused. So it is advisable that the Government should take initiatives to bring such knowledge in to the light and also plan and execute ways to ensure its practical application for the benefit and betterment of the society as a whole and the general public. People should be educated and made aware of such great knowledge and traditions which will ultimately help in making them proud about our great country. It will definitely help in improving the confidence of general public on our traditional knowledge and practices.

Some Traditional Festivals have unique Environmental and Scientific Values. One Such was the TRaditional Ganesh Chathurthi Festival in South India. Here unlike the rest of the country, Traditionally, Only Clay Ganesha is used for the Pooja. Atleast until 50 Years ago, This Ganesha was Hand made and there is an environmental reason behind it.
In the Villages, This encouraged the villagers to not only showcase theoir artistic skills, but also to take clay from the local Wells/ Ponds/ Lakes or Rivers, in turn helping in removing silt as a collective step by the society. This clay was then used in making Ganesha and praying. Removing the Clay during that part of the year will help in ensuring that the next rainfall, can fill these tanks/ ponds and will cause lesser floods (and it is considered the rains will come post Ganesh Chathurthi).

Efforts should be made to introduce certificate courses in vedas and other traditional knowledge. This will instill curiosity among the youth. Further, youth should be involved to put forth traditional knowledge and practices.
