I believe that some Indian traditions need to be preserved as they have become foundations of how people behave today. If there are practices that are unique yet harmless, it can be taught to children at schools. What about old games that stimulate physical activity?

I agree with the previous commenter that most of India’s epics should be reprinted and retold at school. India has a collection of wonderful stories that people from other parts of the world are interested in learning. It might also provide clues as to how Indian society evolved throughout its history.

The government must take innovative steps to bring our traditional practices back in action by rewarding people in small ways. By doing so they can enhance their creativity skills and make India proud of its legacy . I would also like to add that Government of India must introduce Sanatana Dharama which was our oldest of all cultures as a part of Vedic Civilization, it could be taught in schools as a subject so that children can discover their spiritual selves properly as well as can improve the economic development of India and around the world.

Corruption has become so deep rooted in our society, even though India is a religious country. It is important to re-introduce the teachings of Bhagavad Gita in our society to build confidence and discipline among the people. Special emphasis should be made on certain teachings of Gita like service without rewards, control of greed and desires, mediation and yoga. A special speech by the PM on the ills of corruption in our society by invoking Gita to both public and officials would help. The younger generation should be encouraged, trained and incentivized to serve in the public office and drive a corruption free society.

Dear Prime Minister,
First of all I congratulate you for creating a vibe among the indian citizens to love our country and to become self dependent. I am from Assam and worked for 13 years in indian Air Force and now working in a degree college in the post of Associated professor.
Assamese culture is known for its Sattriya dance and knowledge propounded and propagated by Srimanta Sankadeva and his followers in the 15th century, which unitef various caste and creed of the eastern region. Giving up all vedic culture like yagna, puja, sacrifice of animals, Sankardev taught us only reciting Harinaam. Now in the name of Sanatan Dharma many people trying to proselytise vedic rituals. It has hurt most of the Assamese people. Most people seem criticizing your government in social media. Let us retain the sanctity of EkaSararan Harinaam Dharma.
