Epic channel is my favourote channel because it gives idea about our food culture and how there was amalgamation of various culture occured in history. This channel need to be added in DD free dish tv channel.
In Mithila fish are preferable non veg edible.Scientifically its protein are preferentially used for energy and not converted to fat as in case of mutton and chicken. For fish Pond need to be cared .If water bodies are clean and maintained
there will be less dip in ground water level, more fish production , less death of water animal.
If fish eating is tradionally continued , people will maintain water bodies and prevent its destruction.

Our traditional practices is vast and family wise they have, village wise they have, district wise practices and statewise practices we can find when we are living in parents place and inlaws places. As a ladies, we feel the differences. It is vast knowledge.
I will list some known practices
1. Oil bath regulatly weekly once. Applyibg gingelly oil inbhead , cocunut oil in body and with plain shikai powder it makes body. At that time we have to have rasam rice as a diet simple food which will easily digestable I think for lunch. This practices thrre in tamilnadu, chennai ,Tirunelveli areas. Especially in hot places, reduce body heat, will make active , metabolism will be good , breathing helps, eye sight helps etc. We used this our home and getting benefitted for long time.
2. Some people keep regulatly Mehandi I see in thanjavur side it is more which is from natural leaves. It reduces body heat, depression will go, dull mood will go etc.

Mother’s day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, mother - child relationship and the impact of mother in society. It is being celebrated on various days around the world commonly in the month of March and May. On Mother’s Day United Nations celebrate moms who impact their lives and work tirelessly to change the world. The United Nations Foundation knows how important mothers are in promoting prosperity, success and growth in communities around the world. They support United Nations every day in its effort to provide mothers the resources they need to lead healthy and happy life.
With others we are also celebrating Mother's Day with Mathru Pooja on May 8th at Kilimarathukavu Temple Kadakkal, Kollam district, Kerala. We invite your attention to promote this event to each and every corner of the world to elivate the value of Mohers in our society.
