India has a rich legacy of practices and knowledge touching different spheres of life and a scientific heritage traversing various Science & Technology (S&T) domains. The traditional knowledge of India is available in various forms such as classical texts, manuscripts and/or as oral communication that has been passed on over thousands of years. This valuable knowledge is often part of our daily practices as well. Some of the traditional practices are livelihood means of the concerned knowledge holders. Our traditional practices exist in synergy between human needs and nature, often balancing resources and requirements in a local context. However, with time, India’s Traditional Knowledge Systems are eroding rapidly, and the nation has also been witnessing erosion in people’s faith towards our traditional knowledge. A grave concern is the mindless attitude of some to mimic non-Indian cultures and disdain for our traditions. It’s important to recognize that traditional heritage is an integral part of any country’s development and progression. This calls for necessary attention and action from the concerned stakeholders in the country to build further on our scientific inheritance. Only a well-informed and balanced society can drive the advancement of the country.

Under the visionary leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister and President, CSIR Society, Shri Narendra Modi, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is spearheading the efforts to collaborate with the relevant partners from across the country and implement the national initiative SVASTIK (Scientifically Validated Societal Traditional Knowledge) for communicating India’s traditional knowledge to the society. CSIR-National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (CSIR-NIScPR) is the nodal organization to implement this national initiative.

The prime mission of the initiative is to conserve scientifically validated traditional practices, and instil confidence in citizens regarding the scientific values of our traditional knowledge/practices.

We invite the suggestions of academicians, researchers, subject-matter experts, students, NGOs, and the public on how to instil confidence in society about our traditional knowledge and practices. This will help us in our mission to inculcate a scientific temper and instil confidence in citizens by stimulating the Science-Scientist-Society connect towards our traditional knowledge and practices.

Dear PM, Namaste. Prof.Ramya, Author and Tribal Researcher from Tamil Nadu. We have conducted the Adivasi Expo on 5,6,7th April 2022 in PKR Arts College for Women, Erode Dt, Tamil Nadu. Mr.Krishnanunni IAS District Collector, Erode,Mr.Kiruba Shankar IFS DFO and Mr.Madhubalan IAS DRDA was Chief guest. District Administration supported us to make this utsav a grand success. Our District Administration is supporting the tribal empowerment in such a way like encouraging them to make lantana camera furniture, value added Forest essentials. Thank for them. We have exhibited gond, boda,paniya and mukuruku tribes etc. Tribal people, government officials and students visited the Expo. We have celebrated the Adivasi Expo as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

Mahamahim,Bharat is a soch,Education here is nothing but Nytikta and future transformation.We all are doing Modifications rather than Transformation.Culture will come from childhood where I am also a parent who wants to give our child comfort rather than Power.Because of comfort they are till 18 years staying with family however after getting small achievement and financial stability ,they creat there own comfort and leaving the values of bharath and leaving family..we parents need to transform first to transfer the culture ..We all people are going towards being BEST rather than Being GREAT..we are only going with life ..do we really Growing with life ? in terms of culture..it comes with moral values where in school we don’t have a class as no one is there to motivate ..we have to make a special subject for young school kids to motivate them what in future May happen to you.Let us show them a view they will go at least on the way.sir do we anyone knows the real value of SASTRA??

भारतीय पद्धतियों का संरक्षण जरूरी है।1 मिट्टी के बर्तन मे दही जमाना 2 मिट्टी के मटकों मे गधे की लीद का प्रयोग 3 प्राचीन नाडी/नासिका छिद्र से स्वर का प्रयोग(सूक्ष्म प्राणायाम) 4 शरीर में उपस्थित जैविक घड़ी को पहचान करना 4 सुबह ब्रह्म मूर्हत मे उठना 5 उपवास व व्रत रखना 6 आध्यात्मिक बुद्धि का ज्यादा उपयोग 7 पीपल,शमी,बिल्व वृक्षो का धार्मिक आधार पर संरक्षण करना 8 औषधिय पौधों का उपयोग व संरक्षण करना 9 आयुर्वेद का इस्तेमाल करना 9 चार पुरुषार्थो का पालन करना 10 योग विज्ञान का उपयोग व संरक्षण 11 भारतीय देशी गौवंश को सुरक्षित व संरक्षित रखना 12 प्राचीन वेदों का संरक्षण व प्रबंधन करना 13 भारत की अमूर्त सांस्कृतिक विरासत का संरक्षण 14 बुजुर्गों के साथ कुछ समय बैठना 15 प्रातःकाल भ्रमण करना 16 सही उम्र मे शादी करना 17 सामाजिक प्रीतीभोज रखना 18 पेड पौधो का संरक्षण 18 वन्यजीव को संरक्षण देना 19 शादी के समय कन्या के लिए व्रत रखना(कन्यावल) 20 भारतीय दर्शनो का संरक्षण 21 अरस्तू जो जीव विज्ञान व नीतिशास्त्र का पिता कहते ,परम्परागत नैतिक गुणो का संरक्षण 22 कृषि मे परम्परागत खाद का प्रयोग करना। हनवंत सिंह

Hindu Protection Law: Is India fast becoming the most unsafe country for Hindus? Where daily Hindu priests are lynched to death, hundreds of Hindu temples vandalized, Hindu artists murdered in broad daylight, Hindu girls gang-raped and speaking abhorrent things about Hindu Gods and Goddesses in the name of comedy and calling it right to freedom of speech! But if you speak one word about other religion, you will be beheaded. The population growth of the so called minorities over the years is alarming. Complete states in India have been wiped out of Hindu populations and many are being forced to convert. People fear to send the ladies outside after dark. This fear can be seen all over the country. When the religious priests of other religions preach hate, murder and rape against Hindus can there ever be a safe motherland for Hindus? It is high time detailed laws be passed to protect all Hindus, our temples and our traditions. Hindus including all the sub sects as One. Jai Shri Ram.

I am senior citizen SATPAL Singh father of Handicaped child Gurmeet Singh. I book ticket through Travolook travel agency Noida. My ID was 176664486 in 12/6/2021 almost 9 months has passed They have Short Returned 3390. My hard earned money. They don’t care to reply. This Fraud company cheats many people every day please Take action against this company and help me to get my money 3390/- i need for medicines please

The ancient methods of curing fever, cough and cold, muscle pain, headaches, sprains, scratches during playing, vomiting, indigestion, loose motion, sneezing....etc. are still continuing with Ayurveda called as Ayush Bharat.

Here each one is important for the development of the country. We must love and understand the great tradition of our co.
