Recently, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the webinar on effective implementation of the Union Budget provisions in the defence sector. During his address, the Prime Minister said that the webinar was of great significance as it focused on the important issue of making the country’s defence sector self-reliant.

The Prime Minister said that the defence corridors that are being built in the country today would also help local entrepreneurs and local manufacturing. That is, today, self-sufficiency in our defence sector has to be seen as the empowerment of these two fronts – “Jawan as well as Youth”.

The key announcements in the Union Budget related to Defence Sector are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:
• Budgeted expenditure for capital outlay in defence increased by approx. 19%, highest in 15 years
• Disinvestment aimed in the sector to increase opportunities for private players
• Reduction in customs duty rates to nil for import of parts by public sector units (under Ministry of Defence) for manufacturing of aircrafts and parts

Dear prime minister As according to data girls score more in academics. girls are also participate in physical activities .then why only nda is for boys girls also wants to pariticipate in nda if our country is based on ggender( dominant towards male) then how girls will show their ability. 1st defence is strict & reliable law & order ? has any one spoken on Hindu sadhu lynchings, murders ! Bengal/kerala killing hindus at will ? govt e police /uniform killers ? tughlaq collegium applauding. The defence against wealth destroyers the unionbaaz ! when there is a minimum wage and labour laws/bonus prescribed ? what is the role of union ? union baaz travel 1st class all perks & allowance from loot & business owner travels 2nd class brings his own food ? comparative of US/UK v/s India

Budget plays a major role in Defence sector by providing new weapons as our PM says that Defence sector should be make self made weapons which is very useful for our army and do not dependent on another country.When we take weapons from another country it is very costly which affect our country budget.

Provide fo the strategic direction and planning of the armed forces, including resource allocation, the assessment of the military strength of potential adversaries, and the preparation of both contingency plans and joint logistic and mobility plans.
