Recently, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the webinar on effective implementation of the Union Budget provisions in the defence sector. During his address, the Prime Minister said that the webinar was of great significance as it focused on the important issue of making the country’s defence sector self-reliant.

The Prime Minister said that the defence corridors that are being built in the country today would also help local entrepreneurs and local manufacturing. That is, today, self-sufficiency in our defence sector has to be seen as the empowerment of these two fronts – “Jawan as well as Youth”.

The key announcements in the Union Budget related to Defence Sector are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:
• Budgeted expenditure for capital outlay in defence increased by approx. 19%, highest in 15 years
• Disinvestment aimed in the sector to increase opportunities for private players
• Reduction in customs duty rates to nil for import of parts by public sector units (under Ministry of Defence) for manufacturing of aircrafts and parts

jai hind sir. hamari army k pass letest hathyar hone chahiye. or long rang wale hathyar bhi hone chahiye. uske alava army k pass 10 years tak ladsake utna hathyaro ka stock rehna chahiye. mini dron jo kisi ko dikhe nahi vese dron unko dena chahiye jisse dusmano ko najar bandh kar sake or hamare solder relaksh feel kar sake. or unko atcha food milna chahiye. jisse unki sehat atchi bani rahe. jai hind.

In this budget, it would be better if we provide facilities like their bullet proof jacket helmets and latest weapons. we can give the army's the bullet proof jackets which would protect them, the rules & regulations for anyone to enter in India should be strict , fighting planes should be provided with safety measures

Dear Sir Instead of investing on ICBM, we can tune up for a hedgehog missile based defense doctrine, including ATGM, ABM (including those that can bring down stealthy projectiles/planes) and anti ship cruse and ballistic missiles. Thus, we shall not be termed as aggressor, but will break the back of anyone who show aggregation against us.

Respected PM shri Narendra Modi, sir I have got a new idea,sir for our country's safety,we should make tracking machines and spread them to every border of India as the tracking machines will be able to track long distance ,if any enemy tries to attack our country then we will be alert from before and prepare to defeat the enemy. These tracking machines will track the enemy from before and we will get extra time for preparation to defeat the the enemy.

Respected PM sir , I think for India's protection from other enemy countries fighter planes , we should make a machine and attracted at India borderline which can track the enemy from long-distance .
