Recently, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the webinar on effective implementation of the Union Budget provisions in the defence sector. During his address, the Prime Minister said that the webinar was of great significance as it focused on the important issue of making the country’s defence sector self-reliant.

The Prime Minister said that the defence corridors that are being built in the country today would also help local entrepreneurs and local manufacturing. That is, today, self-sufficiency in our defence sector has to be seen as the empowerment of these two fronts – “Jawan as well as Youth”.

The key announcements in the Union Budget related to Defence Sector are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:
• Budgeted expenditure for capital outlay in defence increased by approx. 19%, highest in 15 years
• Disinvestment aimed in the sector to increase opportunities for private players
• Reduction in customs duty rates to nil for import of parts by public sector units (under Ministry of Defence) for manufacturing of aircrafts and parts

No need to import defence stuff. We have enough assets to build our own. The government must ban on those people who study in India, use India's resources and get jobs in foreign countries. This is called betraying!

Increase strict monitoring of institutions like HAL workers so as to scale up productivity of Government institutions.More projects should be alloted in time bound manner that will foster optimum human resource productivity.

1.Procurement of indigenous weapons and ammunition should be faster and transparent that will be facilitate easy access to armed forces.

Dear honorable PM/DEFENSE minister, Let's understand the multi domain operations 1) Space domain (laser, DEW,etc.) 2) Cognitive domain (research based) 3) Biological domain (research based) 4) EMS (research based for effects) 5) Cyber domain ( research based) 6) land domain (Internet of battlefield) 7) Air domain ( internet of battlefield) 8 Maritime ( internet of battlefield) The space domain connects all the domains & has laser communications globally with Effects based operations

Dear honorable PM/DEFENSE minister, Specializations are crucial for India and the defense forces. Let's try and build specialists in each domain of warfare. They need to understand both offensive and defensive operations. Also, seamlessly integrated domains is about how multiple actions can be performed from each domain and not just single actions. Here we have to know what effects are triggered by each domain and how cascading effects occur. We need focus on EMS as many areas are connected

Honourable prime minister, though Indian army is in 4th position but they are strongest in the world.this is because of we have less equipment than other three countries but soldiers are very intelligent and we are able to live only because of them so we can do these by donating as we are wasting money by eating out everyday and also there should be devolpment of electric gadgets.thnq भारत माता की जय

Dear honorable PM/DEFENSE minister, To fully understand multi domain warfare we need to think differently. It is simply not possible to have a 19th century infrastructure and mindset for 21st century warfare. Our defense forces have to modernize rapidly and catchup with the developed countries. Wars will not be winnable if we don't change our approach. All domains of warfare are highly specialized and require a lot of research work. The defense forces will need doctoral and post docs
