A Committee of Experts under the Chairmanship of Shri. Kris Gopalakrishnan has been constituted vide OM No. 24(4)2019- CLES on 13.09.2019 to deliberate on Non-Personal Data Governance Framework. The committee drafted its report which was published for Public feedback/suggestions were been sought by 13th September 2020. Based on the public feedback/suggestions, the Expert Committee has revised its earlier report and a revised draft report has been prepared for the second round of public feedback/suggestions. The feedback will help the committee finalize the report.

However periodical monitoring , back up and restoration of data should also be monitored by Government officials regularly to prevent leakage of data . The server should also be checked regularly so that it does not get crashed (In that case the data can get deleted and it might be a problem to get back all the data ).

Sir, I'm filing a case in the court because Modi's Govt cares about data of people travelling by flight but not about data needed for common man. When technology provides data to people in the middle of air on a flight, why not internet to common man? Modi Ji's Govt is silent on discrimination against common man by misuse of Indian Airspace. Had this happened over Internet & not Indian Airspace, it would have been attacked as violation of Net Neutrality.

Non personal data should be definitely monitored by the Government authorities for security purposes. Different kinds of highly important data is already shared by many agencies to the IT companies for data storage and website building purpose (For example insurance, medical and financial records of their clients). So it is only natural and safe for the citizens if the data is monitored.
