4. What role can the State Housing Boards/Corporations and other state entities play in this objective?
5. What are the key learnings from Urban Local Bodies in implementation of housing programmes?
6. What role can the private sector play in “Housing for All” by 2022?
7. What is the role of industries?
8. What should be the role of individual?

We, in India, are currently passing through a phase in which for a General Category citizen from middle strata of society, owning a house of own has almost become a luxury. It is painful to categorize our citizenry, but it is hardest of hard facts, fearing no contradiction, so far all the Schemes initiated by Government, Central or State, invariably seek to cater to non-General Category or BPL citizenry. Resourceful can fend for themselves. What about GC MIDDLE CLASS? SO FAR CONCERN OF NONE.HOPE

In habitat policy focus should be on self sustainable and vertical housing. How public amenities can be accommodated in vertical buildings. Say spaces for keeping farm and milching animals , parks, fruit and vegitable markets different kind of vehicle stands. Inter buildingconnectivity through air bridges or horizontal lifts.

Why cant GoI take help of SEBI for approving companies to work in Real Estate. Sebi has announced a Real Estate fund also for the same. There is synergy in the objective that one wants to achieve i.e capital appreciation in real estate sector.

In contiunuation to previous post: have source of income and doesn't have to face poverty because of loss of land. As most of farmer are less educated and lack other skills required for job. If land acquired by govt or private player from farmer, no longer require for industrial or other activity then it should be return back to farmer or to his legal inheriter. So that they can continues with farming. After all, every country require huge farming land to feed its rising population.

If govt or private player acquire land from farmer that are not part of cluster area, it should be on lease/rent and whose monthly or annual rent should fix by govt in both cases. So that, farmer should

National urban housing and Habitat policy is greatly linked to the development of Industry and new government poilcy of land acquisition. And like to explain in 2 point: 1. Govt. should develop 5 land cluster in each state that should have fixed area like 250-300Sq km, where land could be used for manufacturing, services, hospitals, urban development etc. Each cluster should serve 11 district near to it, these cluster can be further developed into smart cites but area of these cluster should no
