I would like to thank central government for selecting HD (Hubballi-Dharwad) for smart city project. HD deserve it more than any other as it was foxed by previous central government by not including in JNNURM project and also it was neglected by state government in development. The development of HD should include area within 15-20km from city centres of HD. Government should also plan to develop small cities and towns around HD as satellite towns to HD.

My views on Hubballi-Dharwad as smart city 1.Prohibition of spitting in public places 2.Road and cleanliness are the first impression of city.I think road should be constructed by using geocells which give long life to road. 3.Produce electricity by garbage 4.Good rain water harvesting management 5.Improving waste management system 6.Streetlights can be of solar energy 7.Maintaining gardens, lakes and environment 8.Clean environment with no pollution 9.No plastic zone #SDMCET

Most expected thing in hubli dharwad is the IIT that was made set up in near future. And the monorail is the progression going on. Other than this we also need the water scarcity to be covered up with. Most of the roads have been ignored by the local municipality authorities that is currently controlled by BJP. So please look over the the up holding of the cities prosperity of the culture, like most of the early modern structures like siddaroadhmath and unkal lake. thanks and regards GURU.

smart city need smart people but unfortunately this people migrating to other metro cities because of unemployment .if we consider only Engineering field on an average the number of Engineering graduate expelled out per year is more than 1500 from the twin city. Which causes the serious issue in the development, compared to all other tier-2 city in Karnataka Hubli-Dharwad is not having any major IT commercial company,so in the agenda of smart city please do consider this issue-behalf youth Hubli

Here are my views for Hubli-Dharwad smart city project: 1. Roads - We should have a fly-over from: - CBT to New bus stand - Old Bus stand to Keswapur - 6 way "the BEST" road between Hubli-Dharwad - 4 way road between Old bus stand to Kusugal road 2. Water - Supply 24/7 drinking water for Hubli-Dharwad 3. Electricity - 24/7 electricity for Hubli-Dharwad (Separate Power generation only for Hubli-Dharwad) 4. Renew the major main bus stands to World Class level.
