Would love to see eco friendly commercial vehicles in New Town. Electric cabs and other transport systems could be a great addition to make New Town a pollution free smart city.

We already have a few busses running with free wi-fi in New Town. More such bus services would be great news for the techies.

We are eagerly waiting for the Metro work to complete in New Town. Once that is done, travelling would be much easier.

There are only two subways in New Town till date. We need more subways in New Town. There should be one near all the bus stops and upcoming metro stations at least.

New Town does not yet have enough 24X7 pharmacies, clinics, stores, ATMs, information kiosks, etc facilities. These are important part of creating a smart city.

All emergency services should be made more easily and quickly accessible round-the-clock. May be through a single call number or mobile app.

Smart Cities should have advanced and more efficient traffic management systems installed for faster vehicle movements. Besides, it’s also important to build more flyovers at bigger cross points to enable faster movement of vehicles.

I love the fact that there is already a free internet service throughout New Town. But given the volume of users, I think the net service need to be made much stronger than it is now and free sessions should be more that 30 minutes, may be an hour at least.

What makes me feel great about the idea of New Town as a smart city is the fact that the government is encouraging green properties. Not only will this cut down the pollution levels, but also bring down the energy costs.

In respect to smart city, people safety and security specially to woman should be given high priority.CCTV camara should be fixed at all the points from entrance of city to exit of city, which should be constantly monitored. smart city should be trade, sercives and business oriented, NO industries which make pollution, should be sanctioned within the limit of 25 kms of the city. The city should be completely with trees and plants,it should be pollution free, The people should feel like heaven
