The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

1)good traffic maintenance and good foot paths with zebra system crossing 2)market like vegetables ,fruit, meat than fees should be construct in multystroid building with proper system 3)police patrolling at raneghat bridge. 4)checking of speedy driving with control room with C.C.TV facilities

There is no proper electricity facility in pasighat which is a major problem for the student of pasighat because they can’t study at the evening or high time, they can only hope for the day time. There should be solid aware of throwing the waste and garbage in the drains or river.

In my view a smart city which is capable to meet every need of the citizens residing in it. But to built a smart city , first we the citizen have to be smart and smartly we should take part in it to enrol it in the first phase consisting of 20 smart cities.

Smart governance is lacking, ease of doing business is being tried but more needs to be done in this space Renewable energy sources should be looked into, waste water management should be facilitated

City should encourage smart buildings, which use sensors, meters, systems and software to monitor and control a wide range of building functions – lighting, energy, water, HVAC, communications, video monitoring, intrusion detection Good governance (especially e-governance and citizen

From siang river power supply can be continue hydro power can be place at the well come gate a smart city there should be "May I HELP you" which will help the people (unknown to know which place is where)there should be well security that people living in the area should fill. Well road planned where safety should be take impartially

Quality of road construction should be ensured by putting stringent conditions in tenders like maintenance of roads for a minimum period of two years
