The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

My views- main point is recycled and reuse of waste product. Select some places for away from city for garbage dispose. Proper schedule and task has been given to the management for disposing these waste products. Proper encouragement or participation of people by- extension work/ campaign, education/ teaching, clear the objective of smart city.

There must be development in every field like communication, transport system, education etc. there must be regular supply of electricity. Street light should be constructed in road so, that at night time accident would not take place. There must be a traffic rule and vigilances team for speedy rider or traffic rule breaker so, that accident may not occur. Regular supply of drinking water in onuses

*Educational and health care facility / waste management industries /job opportunities/ recycling of waste materials/ good governance/ administered be made closer to each other/ use of lands towards magnificence enagrl / improved drainage system /efficient control room to receive the problem of people of the city for quick disposition of of solution.

It is the Rice bowl of Arunachal Pradesh & there is never-ending vast stretches of land for agricultural occupation in Maryam & Jampani areas.Pasighat has also a rich history connected with the British regime which is testified by many War memorials near Pasighat. SMART CITY PASIGHAT.

A group discussion model defining or describing pasighat as smart city, organizing smart city Expo and many more. Using of cycle for a short distance journey. They act like Gandhi's 3 monkey. Pasighat, with small population, it always easier to brainstorm and implement ideas. There should be an open discussion on new mission which is smart city mission.
