It should be mandatory for all citizens to plant one tree every year in his own land for which he/ she will get the sapling free and nourish it for two years. Person not having own land shall plant two saplings in public place as earmarked and take care of it for two years to retain citizenship rights.

Destruction of forest land in mines area should be punished severely. The industrialists or industrial houses involved in destroying forests in past or in future should be sent to jail for life term. Their entire assets should be confiscated and taken as national wealth. Loot of natural resources is akin to loot of government wealth. No mercy should be shown to them.

There should be Environment Police Station in every five panchayats to protect forests, rivers and other water bodies from being getting damaged. The same Environment police will also try to prevent open defecating in villages under their jurisdiction.

There can’t be any reservation in plantation work. Anybody who offers to work hard and nourishes trees should be welcomed. We can’t play vote bank politics in life saving activities like forestry. Hard work should be the only criteria for such noble and life saving work.

The right of tribal people to forest produce should be withdrawn. They actively participate in helping the plunderers for little wine or money. If we compare the area under forest before the right was conferred on tribals and after, we can find a big difference. All citizens are equal. Why few tribal keep the right to get the forest produces exclusively for them in best known to vote bank politicians. This must stop. They should get precedence over others to work in forest.

All vegetables or forest bi-products such as fallen leafs/ branches to used as fuel may be allowed to be taken by the growers. But all such items grown and taken must be weighed in the entry gates or near the site by the management people. Management work shall be allotted to growers in rotational basis with 2 or 3surprise members (without repeat in a month) from outside every day.

Providing water to forest plantation can also be done in PPP mode. Area should be ear marked for each plantation worker for cultivating vegetables and related items as the area is irrigated due to plantation. In this way trees are saved and cultivation grows.. Water may be supplied to plantation area by tankers. Sufficient Funds must be provided for forest work by industrialists through CSR.

Surprise verification squads are to be employed to scrutinize the ongoing work by pulling outsiders to look after surprise checks. Armed forest force should be accompanying them to prevent intimidation by local people. Locals should not be kept for audit or surprise checking in any circumstances. Anybody involved in forestry work if found with disproportionate assets shall get proportionate jail terms compared to crime. Corruption in forest work should get severe punishment.

We find large scale corruption in forest management. In this program, corruption will not be tolerated. Anybody trying to deceive the management shall be punished suitably and in exemplary manner. Forest protection Act must ensure stringent punishment. Any conspiracy or attempt to sabotage the program by any one registered for plantation work or outsiders must be suitably punished.

All nationals should understand that if crop fails for some years, we can import food grains from other surplus countries / states. But if forest and trees are lost due to some reasons, can we import oxygen? Trees give us life. We should plant our life by planting and nourishing trees. Anybody cutting a tree should be treated as killing a living being and punished as an unwanted citizen.
