Addressing his fellow Indians from the Red Fort on 15th August 2014 the Prime Minister called for replacing the Planning Commission with another Institution that is in sync with the modern times and most importantly in sync with the aspirations of 21st century India. The Prime Minister also emphasized on the important role the states have to play in taking the nation forward.

This forum invites your innovative ideas on what shape will this proposed institution take in terms of structure, composition and area of functioning. Another area of focus that requires your inputs is how this proposed institution can enhance Centre-State coordination and thus become a true celebration of India’s Federal Structure.

The planning commision is abolished by our honorable PM and it should be named as "Bharat Nirman Aayog". Special think Tanks will give solutions of various problems our nation is going to face in next fifty years.

Please don't have the so called " Public Administration" diploma/degree etc products of foreign universities in the new institution. We want and Indian culture. Such foreign products are those who make a cultural invasion in India. Most of them brain washed to such an extent that they feel whatever western is good and whatever of Indian origin is bad,.

The new institution should not be a pro-vote bank one. Should be above pseudo secularism, pro ability. Give reservation in future only to the financially backward in SC St and especially OBC/minority. There are a lot of rich minority community NRIs who are below poverty line as per government records. Just check up the state of Kerala.

Don't have communal reservation in the new institution. Have persons with calibre. Academic brilliance does not always mean professional ability. for example a person well versed in history may not have scored good marks as what is expected to be written in examinations is distorted history. So we want truthful and brave people who open up their mind rather than fall in line with western trained people.

We don't want people like Ahluvalia who said Kerala's paddy fields can be put to non-agricultural use. Have people who are sensible enough to know that food is the most essential commodity. Then only comes other things.
