Addressing his fellow Indians from the Red Fort on 15th August 2014 the Prime Minister called for replacing the Planning Commission with another Institution that is in sync with the modern times and most importantly in sync with the aspirations of 21st century India. The Prime Minister also emphasized on the important role the states have to play in taking the nation forward.

This forum invites your innovative ideas on what shape will this proposed institution take in terms of structure, composition and area of functioning. Another area of focus that requires your inputs is how this proposed institution can enhance Centre-State coordination and thus become a true celebration of India’s Federal Structure.

We feel ashamed. We feel let down. Dismayed to see a news flash that cabinet has decided to go ahead with Aadhar. unique ID is good. But collecting, processing and storing data with the aid of companies having foreign connections/links/holding/subsidiaries is wrong. We Indians do not like our data to be shared by such companies. Let the UIDAI be a department of the government. Let the data collection work be done by Government officials through post offices or village offices.

good you have decided to continue with adhar, but same start elimnate from that list non residents, and convert it in to national identity / citizen ship/ id card.attach to that voter id no, pan no,bank a/c , LPG con no, ration card no, mobile no,( our state has started that).make it mandatory, then continue with birth certificate which has to be up graded later.
