To encourage JAN BHAGIDARI and to make the procedure of budget formation transparent, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2017-18. As you may recall, this has been a regular feature on MyGov for the last two years.

Citizen from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of the budget making process. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

Last year we had an overwhelming response with over 40,000+ suggestions for Union/ Railway budget. Several of the suggestions received on MyGov were incorporated in the last year’s budget. To know more about these, click here.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th January, 2017.

Respected Sir, Encourage import of cheaply available raw materials to enable production and or assembly of enhanced value products within country.

Aadarniye Pradhanmantri sir, Budget kissan aur kheti ke vikash ke liye invest hona chaiye. Jaise company mein investment hote hai waise agri sector mein bhi investment hona chaiye aur shiksha ke shestra mein bhi. Kissan ka vikas Goan ka vikas.

The era is changing fastly,there is a competition in every sector.Proper quality education is the only way for students to compete with them.Provide every college students with laptops.Scholarships for the students must be increased so that education can be given to everyone.The main strength of india is its youth.The maximum use of them can be only through proper education.Education is also the primary way to eradicate poverty,swachh bharat ,improve digitalisation etc
