Varanasi has been selected by MoUD, GoI under Smart City Mission Phase-I 100 cities. In the next phase, Varanasi has to compete with 98 other cities from across the country to make it into the Top 20 cities.
Citizens and stakeholders of Varanasi are requested to post their views and suggestions on the Smart Vision Statement for Varanasi to be developed as Smart City. The solutions, suggestions & views should reflect the Vision of the City.
Vision:

“To revive the Glory of Varanasi by conserving and promoting its heritage and protecting its cultural and traditional environs to boost tourism and employment, provide quality urban services, accountable governance to enhance the quality of life of citizen”

Our city Varanasi is very beautiful, all it requires is to be organized.Population is growing rapidly making rush in the city.Proper treatment is also required for this.Make settlements and developments at outskirts also.

all boat( big small or multistory(bagada) in river ganga e-boat or hand operate only. no disel opertaed ( except for police and river ambulance) boat allowed

my smart city there would be animal farm at different places where people can place there cow Buffalo, goat and donkey, these animal farm proper equip with animal daily bathing and other everyday need . Also people can do milking at these place from machine, also every animal farm have doctor on call facility too, also people r allowed to show there animal to doctor of there choice also. we can use these place for bio-gas and bio fertilizer and get lot of benefit.

my smart city its compulsory for multi story builder to make at least 25 percentage of total building electricity load from solar energy, for that they should have proper solar system on roof

in my smart city one city one cop policy, any incident happen at any place within city limit every thana also online and tele complain will register without denial of his area.

my smart city there would be parking slot every two km, where only car and motor cycle are allowed to park not in front of shop or of road and inside street, at heart core city area from lauhabir to madiagin to godolia only e-riskha and eloader r allowed to operate as public vehicle, all autoriksha and erisha complusry meter based and at place to place tariff will display so that outsider not get cheated

my smart city varanasi, city divided in six different color zone, so all outside wall of that color only, no wall poster or cloth pamphlet r allowed to stick or hang. there would proper electronic ( preferably solar) road display system which will give information about traffic position different part of city at real time basis. all advertisement only through electronic display so that its ecofriendly and prompt to change and stop based on color we can allow differnt weekend holiday that zone

my smart city Varanasi will have every 5 or 8 km liquor mall where only there people can sell countryman and english wine no other place liquor ( except hotel and bar) are allowed to sell, also in liquor mall entry only showing off age proof compulsory. we can have in mall lot of bar. so that there no government revenue loss

my smart city varanasi should be green & show enrich culture heritage organised & clean city.here are my few suggestion there should market haat in center of every two kilometer radius, in that haat people can sell vegetables fruit and milk and pan and cigartte other daily consumable item, there would be shop and also shop on trolley in haat, but the people not allowed to sell these items in every nook and corner they can deliver direct to home from these shop.

The Varanasi Kyoto Agreement is good so that we can replicate it but there should be some self made ideas of the people of Varanasi which ill help them in conserving the heritage and culture of the Varanasi and it can be made cultural capital city of India
