, it is a consideration. To attain an equilibrium, I suggest that only and only for the applicants who meet the admission criteria and score an above average score, factors such as personality, achievements inside and outside the school and a short personal statement be evaluated so that diversity can be obtained in institutions across the country. This can contribute to directly improve the marketability of graduates and curb dropout rates, as the students will actually be committed to fields

to help those who are qualified yet have to depend on a pinch of luck to get thought the admission process. I know many of my seniors who chose an institution just for the brand name even if they had to study a subject they are least interested in. Ma'am, I agree with you that a particular college does not decide one's success in life but it surely improves one’s prospects of being successful. Moreover, if someone wishes to attain a professional education aiming for a specific career.

Tackling the issue of excess supply of qualified students Interpreting this issue using the introductory knowledge of economics I have, the present admissions are done on the basis of supply and demand and high cut-offs are a result of it. With 'quotas' and 'scoring minimum 60%( may vary) in board exams to be eligible for entrances' act as 'cut-off ceilings' to help those who cannot attain those high percentages, I could not figure a clear 'support cut-off' policy in action.

Extending the academic performance review beyond the grade 12 Marksheet. I strongly believe that marks in a single examination i.e. class 12 board examination cannot reflect what a student has learnt in more than 12 years of his/her schooling. Apart from the cut-off marks, applicants' academic performance in class 11th and 12th or perhaps in classes 9th-12th should be taken into consideration by assigning different weights to marks obtained in each class.

Connect state universities with society by organising different functions like arts n science exhibition, music n dance competition, public lectures by various lecturers.Universities can earn little income and society too will be learned. Money could be used to develop infrastructure, salary to teachers, maintenence etc.

I have many suggestion but space is really limited. I suggest recreating the syllabus of each child who studies in India. Decide three level of students currently, one who studies state board or NCERT or CBSE or ICSE, they all are according to the levels of each students. But not very well design, many stuffs are useless. Such as why we are teaching Akbar, Humayun or Mughals as our Kings, actually they all looted India, kills people. Many such things needs to filtered.

Universities should be defined in a more natural ways. Each universities should in such exemplify its own identity. Such as IIM Allahabad should be one university and not a college. One university should have various departments but not the colleges and each department should have specific disciplines for the students to choose from. Each university should have their own research centers for the development of new Bharath & well equip for new research by studen. Gov funding sh'ld be transparent.

Elections in universities were meant to be providing great leaders but has become playground for political ambitions compromising the academics. These practice should be curbed. Universities are not adopting E-governance in its soul.every decision should be open for public view and inputs can also be taken .Everything should be in public decision on what basis they have taken the decision ,discretionary powers should have to be on some firm basis.
