Smart City Lucknow should be divided into various districts/zones which cater to a particular sectors. For examples all the offices should be shifted to a Office and work district. Shopping places should be in a shopping district. Food shops and restaurants should be provided a entertainment district. Later on these districts can be given connectivity through metro and bus service. Having districts smooths traffic and makes it easier for people to commute through the city.

Food related sanitation should be given priority!! Most restaurants and food shops are very unhygienic and workers don't care to wear gloves and masks while handling food. This causes diseases to spread and people's money is spent in treatment, while hospitals are burdened. It should be made illegal for any vendor to sell food items without wearing gloves, caps and masks. Regular inspection should be done and dirty road side stalls should be removed.

Smart city people should not have their lives cut short due to pollution, plant more and more trees on roadsides and empty areas. Trees should be chosen which are suitable for Lucknow's climate and don't use too much water. Trees like Eucalyptus should be avoided as they suck a lot of water. Tree planting activities and garden maintenance would create thousands of jobs.

a lot needs to be done for the improvement of city:- 1. the state of roads in the interiors leaves a lot to be desired 2. the number of vips moving in the city needs to be checked..especially the ones moving with red and blue beacons..almost every other car has one...it should be ensured that only the persons allowed to put the beacons have it and the rest to be removed 3. strict check to be put on the traffic discipline

Construct more parking space near schools,hospitals,railway/bus stations, etc. so that no traffic jams occur at such places.Government may ask schools or hospitals to construct parking space for vehicles coming there. If funds be a problem, they may be provided incentive/contribution for the same. Using CCTV cameras installed at all major crossroads, sms may be sent automatically to the registered owner that his/her vehicle is wrongly parked and fine would be imposed.PDF contains more suggestiions.
