Using of automated timers in street lights saves 10% energy, If the energy efficient fixtures like LED lamps are used energy can be saved upto 70 % There is a tendency of wastage of energy in street lights after 10:00 PM where in line voltage shoots up and lights will illuminate brighter than ever when no one uses the roads, so please use street light voltage regulators to control the voltage , this with auto ON-OFF and dimming in late night hours will save 35-40% energy

Energy consumption is broadly classified into following sectors 1. Govt buildings, Private establishments 2. Domestic consumption sectors 3. Industries & Agriculture 4. Urban and rural street lighting sectors. First and foremost i would divide india into seperate time zones, one for north east for sure,, the days are bening completely wasted,Even in central india the govt. offices and pvt markets open by 10 and any effective buisness starts from 11 am, as a trial basis a district should be selected to study impact of daylight saving by just starting govt. offices half an hour earlier, results of a month can be compared with last year energy units for fair evaluation

Craft a system of automatic Light Intensity control for street lights which in turn would turn ON the street lights at a set intensity and also include solar powering system for the same hence we can compensate for 2 things here viz: 1- Unnecessary power usage can be avoided by using solar cells. 2- Automatic light intensity control units for all the street lights which would turn ON the street lights at the set intensity limits based on solar luminance in that particular geographical location

Such a promotion I understand, was also done with introduction of efficient kerosene stoves in 1970s as alternative to extant stoves. -2/2

We need to map the energy expense in delivering the heat at stove level in kitchens. Use of bottled gas is highly inefficient and experience of use of piped gas is well established-phased introduction of piped gas is an imperative now. Also, one can factor in use of induction stoves in regions with sufficient electricity as an alternative to gas stoves to start with as they are reported to be more energy efficient. -1/2

Use of solar water heaters for space heating using radiation collectors, lo power circulating pumps & hi efficiency radiators (like those of trucks) can be thought of for room heating in writers. Use of electricity can hence be curtailed substantially. Efficient fluids like natural esters should be deployed which can be made using locally available vegetable oils. These K3 class fluids are globally used for superior fire safety & in being environmentally benign.
