Namaskar We all have been recently celebrating the memorable feat of our chess champion D. Gukesh. His game and dedication towards it is highly inspiring. It's a request as well as a suggestion from my side for this episode of "Mann ki Baat " that our honourable PM talks about Bharat's chess history and tradition, to inspire the youth. We often separate studies from sports and art but these skills and activities play a significant role in our physical, mental and emotional development. Not only at a young age but in professional life and later also they act as a means of self amelioration. This new year 2025 hence, why not to think of some arrangements in our institutes, offices, organisations, societies etc where one can learn, practice and improve these skills in their regular routine without bothering to take out some extra time separately or looking for some specific coaching/training centres!
