Subject: A Request Regarding Rising Education Costs Respected Modi Ji, My name is Aarish, and I am a young student of our country. I am writing this with the help of my mother for Mann Ki Baat. Recently, with new school admissions, many parents around us are feeling worried about the rising cost of books and study materials. Book sets that earlier cost around ₹4000 are now reaching ₹12000. This creates a lot of financial pressure on families. If we truly want to increase literacy and make India a great nation, education should demand as little money as possible and focus more on children’s learning and abilities. In higher fields like MBBS, IT, and professional courses, many talented children are unable to pursue their dreams because the cost is too high and seats are very limited. Only a few can manage, while many capable students never even get the chance to try. This is not good for the future of our country. Education should be tension-free for parents.

In my humble opinion State Assembly and Parliament members will have to be given , as in US senate and congress opportunity for airing their free opinion in these forums. These differences shall not be considered as dissent. A Government can be voted out of power only in the event of a specific bill enacted by parliament and assemblies. In these cases only VIP shall be issued . Any amendments to bills, vote of thanks etc. shall not mandate the Government to resign

Idea: Introducing an “Indianness Score” to Promote Made in India Brands Dear Sir, Recently, while standing in a food court, I had the option to choose between Burger King and Burger Singh. Driven by patriotism, I chose Burger Singh. However, after the purchase, I thought how “Indian” is the brand truly? What if key ingredients are sourced from foreign companies? How much of the value chain actually contributes to India? To address this, I propose introducing an “Indianness Score” across industries, a percentage that brands can display on menus, product labels, or digital platforms (even as fine print). This can be based on factors such as domestic sourcing of raw materials, Indian ownership and investment. While there may be concerns from foreign companies operating in India, this initiative could encourage them to increase local sourcing and deepen their contribution to the Indian economy. Such transparency would empower consumers to make more informed and nation-first choices.
