Hi everyone I live in melbourne australia. I wanna suggest a technology used everywhere in australia. Its specifically useful in times of high and very low traffic to save accidents. All the signals here have got sensors. Only when the car or bike goes to the signal the signal is activated otherwise it stays green for the busy road . So basically low priority side rodes only get a green when someone is there. It gives people assurance they will get green soon and a lot of lives can be save

Make separate lanes for bus. This helps the bus drivers to avoid traffic and let the travellers reach there destination faster then there own car. In this lane no private cars should be allowed and if someone break the rules, should be fined. In that exclusive lane for buses few places the lanes should be open, like if the other car wants to take left then it should be allowed. Also ticket for buses should be digitalized because dont like carrying change in there pocket. Vande Materam

A GPS SHOULD BE INSTALLED IN EVERY EMERGENCY VEHICLE,WHICH WOULD SEND ITS LOCATION TO A CONTROL ROOM WHEN STUCK IN TRAFFIC AND CONTROL ROOM WILL MAKE THE LIGHT OF THAT PARTICULAR LANE GREEN TILL THE EMERGENCY VEHICLE IS OUT OF THE TRAFFIC, TO EXPLAIN THE PARTICULAR SITUATION TO OTHER VEHICLES IN OTHER LANES A SCREEN WOULD BE INSTALLED ON THE LIGHTS WHICH WILL DISPLAY MEDICAL EMERGENCY SO THAT PEOPLE DONT PANIC AND EMERGENCY VEHICLE CAN GET SMOOTH CLEARANCE.

In india zebra crossing is not taken seriously, start penalising ppl for this or may be start using fataks just like railways at important Junctions, It may waste few seconds but will reduce the problem of traffic. POTHOLES Biggest contributor of traffic, Just sack those contractors and also penalise 5-10 times if potholes are there even after repair. Unless tough measures are not taken n implemented all your discuss portal this whole website will be of no use.

1. The best way is “no private vehicles on the road” this should be our long term goal. - All the institutions/organizations should provide buses to their employees. 2. Increase in public transport (with better information system for the passengers) - Public transport buses to be increased on the heavy routes, provided real time information. 3. Car clubs or car sharing/pooling 4. Cycling should be promoted

Start Giving commission to Traffic Inspectors so that they do not indulge in corruption. number OF Chalan cut during the month based on that give them as commission, Like 10% of the total amount or 20%. Give them a good amount, Even they have families they have needs. Today Police People condition is the worst n that's the main reason they get into all this bribery thing.

1. There are lots of companies with a large number of employees in this area. These companies started to work years ago and grew slowly over these years. We should consider moving them to the countryside. By this change less employees drive in our cities and also the urban parts of our cities will improve. 2. Between 7 am to 9 am and between 4 pm to 6 pm are rush hours in our cities. By managing our time we will have good solution for the traffic.
