Suggest smart solutions for solving traffic problems. The solutions may include but not limited to use of innovative digital technologies, administrative and architectural solutions and design of workflows which may be used for solving the problems mentioned in the contest. All questions in this category must be answered to be considered as a complete submission and to be eligible for short-listing. Questions 1. Suggest one smart solution and/or innovative technology for conveniently dealing with traffic congestion outside your home. 2. One motorcar carries 4 people comfortably; one public bus carries 40 people comfortably. How can a smart city balance the needs of the car and the bus? 3. How can travelling by bus in your city become safer and more comfortable with the use of innovative technologies and smart solutions? Entry Deadline • Entries may be submitted online on the mygov.in portal latest by 23.59 hours (11.59 pm) on Saturday, 20th June 2015. Evaluation The submissions will be evaluated on the following criteria: • Do-ability (50%) • Innovation (50%) Award Two winners in each category will be awarded a citation from the Prime Minister at the Smart City Mission Launch on June 25th, 2015 at VigyanBhavan, New Delhi, along witha cash prize of the following amounts: • Rs. 40,000 - First PrizeRs. 25,000 - Second Prize The winning ideas would be shared with the 100 SmartCities as potentiallyimplementablesolutions and will be considered for pilot • All questions in a particular category must be answered to be considered as a complete submission and to be eligible for short-listing. • The participants(s) entries will be judged for each category independently and on merit. In case of short listing in more than one category, a participant will receive prize money for one category only. • The length of each answer is limited to 250 words or less. Two solutions: 1. There should be 4 member per car system..Car will be sold on the basis of members in house 2. Car should be register in RTO only if you provide approved map from municiple corporation of parking space. 3. People would be encouraged in offices who are using car pool method 4.Petrol Rationing and monthly limit card which consequently save oil and save environment

1. har dho(2) road k cross se kreeb 500 meter phle cross ko jodne wali square k aakar ki road bnaee jaye taki Jo vehicles left or right turn hona chahte h unhe cross pr na Jana pde isse cross pr jaam nhi lgega. 2. Cross mein b ek road ko underground bna dhiya jaye takee vehicles bina stop kiye chalte rhen isse traffic light ki jrurat b nhi pdegi. 3.har 2nd cross k middle mein side mein ek essa rasta underground bnaya jaye jis se vehicles left or right side mein road ke under se ja ske. NO JAAM

Main aim should be to reduce the no. of vehicles running with the same efectivity maintained.If we increase no.of means to travel with compartably low cost,people would be happy to choose us rather making roads more populated.Awaring people abt giving prefernces transport units services.A powerful step to insure road safety/speed limits and removal of ill motors.Multiple/each stop covering ability and preference of government transportation mode drivers.teach future generation role in society

Mainly all the offices has office timing of 9am to 6pm. After 6pm the traffic increases rapidly. To avoid this,some offices should change their office timings by half and hour earlier or later instead of 9am. Due to this their will be easy flow of traffic in the city.#MeraShaharMeraSapna

All the companies and offices should provide bus service to all the employees at low cost. It will not only reduce the traffic but also each employee will save everyday traveling cost.

Every vehicle should have gps installed in them so when the speed excess or break the signal the computer automatically creates challan of the vehicle this way more number of road accident can be prevented

Give the RFID for the each vechile, any vechile is over speeding , signa jumping , hit and run can identify. One more thing how many vechiles travelled on the road , which road in crowded , singal timer can be set with based on the crowd not the static way. GPS of the amulance data.

Mr.Prime Minister I would like you to introduce cameras on traffic signals as well as on the highways ..This will be very helpful in traffic controls as well as in criminal activities .This method is widely adopted by the foreign countries
