Dedicated tracks for Buses in the mid lane and the extreme lanes to be used by cars. Just like how it has been done in Ahmedabad. It is simple, efficient and also saves buses from getting damaged by colliding with other vehicles. Roads should be expanded keeping in mind all kinds of vehicles. Make roads narrower so that a single line of vehicles can pass. Narrow roads = wide footpath(can be used for parking, cycle track and pedestrian)

Lane driving should be strictly followed and person who doesn't follow should be penalised heavily. Also while issuing a driving licence this should be taught to the person applying for licence. Applying licence through agents should be removed.

1.To reduce the traffic congestion car pooling needs to be encouraged so that all people in a neighbourhood who travel on a common route share their cars on rotation basis so that there are less number of cars on road. 2.To balance the needs of the car and bus, the number of vehicles that a particular household can buy has to be regulated so that the problem of parking can be solved. 3.Also big companies should provide bus service to reduce the number of employees who travel by private cars.

#MeraShaharMeraSapna "Digital Traffic Control" There should be magnetic sensors in a road in a traffic signals, it sense the number of vehicles and sends the data to traffic signal control located at the junctions, the control receives the data from the sensors then instantly sends data to traffic management system software located at a traffic control centre then the software sends the data to the controls. From this where the number of vehicles is more, the time of green light have majority

1.Use Google Maps-Traffic to decide on mode and route of transit. 2.If a person can manage household in fixed income, why cant we manage vehicles for fixed road area. Each moving person has equal right, so get the number of required vehicles and their type in a ideal traffic movement scenario. 3.Passenger Information System. Training of Drivers and Conductors. Priority to bus transport be next to ambulance and prior to VIP car.

Sometimes the traffic signals dedicate a certain amount of time for the pedestrians to cross the road with the zebra crossing. A button can be installed in the signals for the pedestrians which will activate the green light once the button is pressed after a certain amount of time. This can atleast confirm that if there are no pedestrians, the traffic will remain uninterrupted and will reduce the unnecessary red lights.

Control corruption in traffic police. One can easily see them collecting money from auto, buses, trucks and private vehicles with either more passengers or lugguage. They need money. All those public transport owners who pay them flout all norms on road. They know none will stop them. Innocent people are harrased and those who pay are let off. We can still find films on cars owned by rich but no one cares. Corruption is the mother of all traffic problems.
